With Word, I used to to a 'search and replace', puting ';' in the search field, and a special caracter code for tab (an accent looking like a kind of small hat, followed by the 't' letter').
To replace with a carriage return (end of paragraph), I had to use the same accent as before, followed by the 'p' letter.
Can somebody please tell me what are the caracter codes equivalents in writer, for 'tab' and 'carriage return' and/or if there is a drop down menu to insert those formating codes in the 'replace with' field ?
