Hi there hoping you might help me.
I am trying to use OO 1.1 and 2Beta on our office computers which run w98. On both OO versions I can create files and save them to our Samba server. When we go to open the files we get an error box that says Samba/Sharedfiles/etc.ods does not exist even though we can check that files properties on the server and indeed rename it. If we cut and paste the file into the local machine we can then open it. In short we can't open files that we have put onthe network. Your help would be much appreciated as this is the only thing stopping us adopting OO.
I have had a similar problem in 1.1.x on Win98.
If I try to double click on a file to open it & OOo, I get the error you described, if I open OOo and then choose File > Open, the file opens fine.
