For the attention of Anthony Chilco Hi, Thank you for your e-mail. I am only using ' Writer' at the moment as this is my main requirement and I have ' pinned ' it to my start menu - works fine !

If you're running windows, click 'Start / programs / openoffice' then right-click-drag the program icon onto your desktop. It may be simple to enable the OOo quickstarter. It will place an icon in the system tray (below the clock) that you can right-click to get access to the programs. tc Nick Evans wrote: > Hi, > > I am a new user. How do I set up a means of getting into the program from my Desktop, please. > > nickevans83
