I'm working on an eBook, which I hope to convert to PDF. In order to get the headers to not appear on the title page or at the beginning of a section, I'm using different page styles. But I'm not sure how to apply them correctly. I open up the stylelist, go to the page I want to change the style for, and double-click the style name. This seems to cause havoc, because other pages will lose their style and revert to something else, usually the style I just clicked on. Is there a better way to apply a style to each page?
Probably, but first, you might take a look at the tutorials at http://www.tutorialsforopenoffice.org/category_index/wordprocessing.html and see if some of your questions aren't answered there. There are several on using styles, but you may find the ones contained in the Master Documents topics most beneficial.
Good Luck, Doug
