Thanks, Doug. I ended up figuring it out. I discovered the bit where you specify what style to use after the current one. After creating a custom style, I was able to create a sort of chain. Every time I inserted a page break, I specified the style to use for the new page, which started the chain.
I've bookmarked that site and will be looking closely at it.
You are making extra work for yourself, IMO. Using the Next Style feature in the Page Style Organizer, OOo can automatically apply the correct style when you add or delete content and you won't have to fiddle so much with page breaks. I suppose it's a matter of how you want to work, though.
All that aside, glad you found the feature and good luck with it.
