/That is correct. As a test to see if it was repeatable, I just un-installed 1.9.79, downloaded the installer again, re-installed it, imported the ASCII file and the same thing happened. I then opened the file from 1.1.4 and all lines are visible. I'll report it as a bug.
Thanks again for the patience and the help.

I don't mind at all, and thanks again. Sorry I wasn't clear in the earlier post.By "it displays fine," do you mean that if you import the ASCII file into 1.1.4, save it and open it with 1.9.79, all the rows appear - including those beyond 9811?
9809,1341993,Seniawski,Charles,1053662,Generic Users,71048782 9810,1341994,dombrock jr,john,1053662,Generic Users,76013119 9811,1341996,D,Jean,1053662,Generic Users,9186501 9812,1341997,Bennewitz,Thomas,1053662,Generic Users,42944601
I have just put the values of the cells in seperated by commas. I have also added the row number. Rows 9811 and 9812 (and all below that) do not show in the beta, but they are fine in the stable version. If I open the saved spreadsheet from the 1.1.4 in the 1.9.79, it displays fine (don't know if that helps). The last line to show from the ASCII file is this:
"1341994","dombrock jr","john","1053662","Generic Users","76013119"
Otherwise, if this is repeatable, it might be time to report it as a bug.
