For Roderick: I checked the MD5 sum--it was OK. Tried unzipping the file one more time and installing--still the same problem.

For C.P. Hennessy: I used reply as the easy way to get the address entered. Then put in a new subject and text. This never causes a problem with regular e-mail---why would a mailing list be different??

Please use md5sum to check that the zipfile is indeed okay and report
back.
