Ah so. You have to open the TOC entry Formula Reference Table and scroll
down the lists to find the one you want. The vertical bar is in
Relations section. That help?

Now, and I appreciate this, I feel bad for making you my help gopher, but can you find anywhere in the Math help about the need to put an operator in quotes?

I searched for text, quotes, and ". The only place I even see it used in the help is under OOo Math Examples > Attributes.

I am just wondering if a line like, "if you want to use a symbol that is reserved to do something in OOo Math, you must put it int quotes", is in there.
