in Writer FAQs there is this section:
*Document Formatting*
What is the best way to format my documents ?
Have a look at *this document .* Or here is another very good *introduction to the Stylist .

okay, here are the results of clicking on the links:
"this document" *brings up, *"You have requested a non-existent page in the Math Department web site.", *from the U of Maryland Math Department.*
"**introduction to the Stylist" *brings up a page of mass-market links belonging to* linmagau.org,* and nothing at all about Open Office . *
I need help, not bomb-offs!
*My immediate concern is:
How does this OpenOffice newbie Replace portions of copied default-format text that represent hyperlinks, with the same text set to myown , long-standing hyperlink format (namely, 8 pt Franklin Gothic Book, RGB(112,160,255), word underlined)? My typical use of this modality is to save magazine Tables of Contents for future reference, when archived articles eventually become freely available.
In $ Office 2000, this was easy; but the technique became hosed in Office 2003, due to the latter's virulent featurosis.
That is why I am currently working with Open Office.
Without the hypertext reformatting, this would mean hand-fixing sixy links one-at-a-time.
I am also attempting to use Corel Office 12, but that is a whole different kettle of fish, with problems and potentials of its own. *
