Yes, you can have both installed. In fact it is recommended as the 2.0Beta is not recommended for production use yet. What you will find is that 2.0 is set to open your 1.1 file types (with .sw* extensions) by default. To get them re-assigned back to 1.1, you will have to run the setup.exe for 1.1 and choose the 'repair' option. I'm assuming here that you are a Windows user, of course. 2.0 Beta has its own file types (.od*) which 1.1 will not be able open. However, it will also open/save 1.1 docs. Have fun!
