Richard is right. The downloaded file has to be unzipped first. You can create a new folder on your desktop and unzip it to that folder. Then open the folder and run the setup file. Before you do that, if you have not already done so, go to www.sun.com, and install the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment. OOo needs Java support for full functionality. Good luck!

But that sounds like the error that WIndows throws up when it cannot find a file or access a file due to user rights settings or read only settings.
