Well, the Edit > Find > Format option sure hasn't worked. When I run it, I get the "Search Key Not Found" message. It doesn't even matter what font I am searching for (tried fonts that I know to be in the document). I tried this option in MS Word, and it worked there just fine. I'm using OOo 1.1.3. On SUSE Linux 9.2 I have tried the format > autoformat > apply, which did help eliminate some of the extraneous fonts in the document, but not the symbol font. When I export to PDF, I still get that symbol font showing as not embedded in the document properties dialog. Apparently, It's a Type 1 font, not True Type. Any other suggestions? I would like to resolve this conflict by next week. I'm nearing my own deadline now.
