Well, I just had an equivalent problem in Windows XP.
When I actually stress the writer application (open a
web page with Writer) the Task Manager says that
soffice.bin is using about 95-99% of the CPU.
I killed and removed 1.9.95. I'll continue to use 1.9.69.
Has an issue been filed against 1.9.95 for this problem?
