I know one can add a Note to a cell, but is there any way to add an inline comment after the cell's string? For instance, in some scripting I do, I can write:
HamFetchMail(server, port, user, pass) # pull xxx mail acct.
and everything including and after the # sign is disregarded by the script engine.
I would find the inline comments easier to use than the tagged on Note.
It is only a side effect of the formula interpreter, but it works:
=someformula();"my comment"

Indeed it does, Daniel. Nice solution. I see the quotes are necessary, probably because it is a side effect, as you say.
This will come in very handy, especially with my on the fly boolean conditional formatting formulas. Now maybe I will know what I was thinking of when I wrote the formulas!
Thanks,
Paul
