The components of OOo are NOT single applications. The vast
majority of OOo consists of the core components. All of the parts of
OOo (Writer, Draw, Calc, Impress, Math, etc.) use the part or all of
these core components. In other words, OOo is an integrated package not
a set of products. So, a download/install of one part would require
most of the entire package. For example, the Linux RPM files for
version 2.0 beta. The core RPM's make up about 90% of the total size of
the downloaded package.
