The ability to have individual user settings is highly dependant on the operating system. If you are using winXP or version of unix/linux (unsure about Mac), you can do a network install. This installs a central installation of core files, then smaller and individual files for each user that wishes to utilise the program.
If you want more information and your OS can support, have a read of the .pdf that comes with the downloaded file which has step by step instructions. You would have to provide more information as to why 2.0Beta does not install.
