The only way I was able to open Lotus Word Pro files was with a viewer for Lotus called KeyView for Lotus.
I can't find the URL for the site but you should find the software via Google or any other Web search engine.

Once open, you can copy and paste the content of the file into OOo.

Good luck

If you have available a copy of Adobe Acrobat, you might consider saving to that format. It is rumored that the ability to edit PDF files will be available in the 2.0 release.

Ami pro is unlikely to export to PDF -- it was an excellent word processor in the early nineties, much better than MS Word of that date, with a strikingly clean and attractive interface. Later rewritten, and, I believe, largely destroyed, as Lotus Word Pro.
