The easiest way that I have found is to select an area that is otherwise unused, and do something in say column aa as aa1 =a1 and ab1 = c1.
Then, column aa and ab which are side by side can be used for the X-Y chart
source data.

Best regards,
Joe

I want to create a chart in my spreadsheet that uses columns a and c.
How do I not use adjacent columns?
It is a simple x,y line chart.

The other thing I want to do is not start at 0 on the y axis.
