Dan,

This sort of form should allow editing of the data in all tables.
However, with OOo 1.9.100
and dbase tables as the database its does not allow editing of the data!
(I have lots of dbase tables!)
(1.1.4 was OK)
I also used SQLite ODBC (on Win XP) as my database and this works OK.
A problem with the new dbase interface?

I also checked through all the available manuals and was unable

unable to locate any manual listing Base as its primary topic.
I will download and check through the main OO.o 2.0 Manual to see
if there is anything within it that might help me.

Ideally, my goal is to have a simple form, that requires little
typing.
By creating a Query using the following fields:
<snip>
I want to take that query and end up with a form using just those
fields. <snip>
Information as to how to set this up is not found within the Base
help files.
This document (a chapter in the Getting Started Guide) might help

I just checked the URL Jean gave. There is a single typo in it:

The section you want to read first is "Creating a view of multiple
tables." This is what you probably should have done instead of making a
query.
My thinking at this point in time is that you may have to make
forms to add the data to individual tables. Use the Create View task
when Tables is selected in the Database list on the left. Make the
table you want from the tables you have already created. Link the
tables where needed. A form made from this "combination" table will
contain the linked records. I'm not sure that this last form will be
anything other than read only however. I need to do some more research
to discover that answer.
