Some versions of OpenOffice.org can open Works documents, such as the Ubuntu version (Ubuntu is a very popular Linux distribution), which I have installed on my system. I would suggest one of the following: 1. Send the file to someone who has Works and let him/her convert it to whatever is suitable. 2. Send the file to me (off list) and I will try to convert it for you. This option will provide two advantages (hopefully), where the other one is that I have the opportunity to try this, since I'm curious about if this works good or not or even if it works at all. 3. Look at Microsoft's site for a converter. I am not sure about if there is one, however. J.R. > > Pam
