Coulda fooled me, I just opened a wpd document in standard 2.4.1 and
standard OOo3-dev (linux) just fine. Have you checked your File|Open
types lately? Futher, before sending someone off to and MS solution,
both OxygenOffice (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ooop) and Go-oo
(http://go-oo.org/discover/) open wordperfect documents just fine.

You might want to do a follow-up with Ms. Mayer...
