It appears that since my install of the ZoneAlarm Security Suite (ZASS) to v8.0.015.000, I am unable to connect with OpenOffice server(s) to check for and have a successful update. I install the latest version of ZASS on 9-3-08. I keep getting an error as shown below.

It appears that ZASS (the latest version) is not allowing me to check for updates for OpenOffice v2.4.1. I do get a successful check when I shut-down ZASS. I have also added the URL of "update24.services.openoffice.org" to both the Privacy list and the Firewall as "TRUSTED" but still cannot connect. For whatever reason, ZASS will not allow me to check for updates of my
copy of OpenOffice.

I had no problems with OpenOffice and ZASS with the previous version of ZASS (7.0.483.000).

I don't know if you need to get with ZoneAlarm or not. If I try to contact them, I may not get any results other than a "canned" response and something to the effect "it ain't our problem" (maybe not in those exact words)! I will make an attempt to contact ZoneAlarm. Maybe you should check
this out and possibly get with them also.

Let me know if there is any additional info you need. I await your response.
