hi,

thanks for replying. so my current Mac OS version 10.5.5 is the Aqua version? and OOo wont work with it? so i should use the RC 1 (http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/ ) meanwhile? and if i save may docs very often, it should be ok? do you know when the OOo for Aqua will be released?

2.3 was running since months without problems under my Mac OS 10.5 but since the last Mac update, its not running anymore. after the X11 window loads and i ok'ed the message "time out" like everytime, no OOo window document will show up. i also tried Ooo 2.4 but same problem. need help.
german language would be nice if possible.

Hello,

German language is available at http://de.openoffice.org, including a German
users list.

For the X11 problem: the Aqua version of OOo will be ready soon. It doesn't
need X11 any more.
I already use the Release Candidate 1 (there's also a newer version, m6). The word is that you shouldn't use it for 'serious' work, and save your work
regularly because it isn't bugsfree yet.

The 3.0.0RC1 is available at GoodDay, in English as well as German, PowerPC
or Intel:
