That is exactly what I want to do >And I don't see that Calc can do that. Neither could I :-) You can trick it into yearly tick marks by using 365 days as the interval for the major tick marks and you get evenly spaced 6 monthly intervals by using 183 days, but after that I gave up trying to get smaller intervals because, the month sequence goes wrong. Because months don't all have the same number of days. It needs Calc to "know" about months the way that charting/statistics programs (and indeed Excel) do, so I was hoping that just as can format the axis as being a log axis, you could format it as being a "date" axis. I wonder if release 3 can do this? Thanks for your time.
