But that's what all Windows users do! Because they usually are administrator of their machine (else you can't do much with restricted rights anyway). I don't mind some sudo to become root for such kind of 'maintenance'. But I agree, former dictionary.lst was easier, we just had to edit it with a mere text editor, now we've to run OOo to access the extension manager. As most users will find this new way of installing dictionaries easier, I think it's not that bad.
