Dear Jim,
Thanks very much for your probing.
It is a good news that the OOo 2.4.1 can handle this. however, in my WinXP
system my Hungarian version cannot do this. But in the same system, the
Word, the IE, and the Firefox handle the SMP charcter perfectly.
Who understand this?
Regards
Gábor

I am waiting for your experiences.
Thanx for the idea (hu.openoffice.org), I try it, too. (However, this
problem is pure SMP-related, only.)
I tested the font. It works without any trouble in OpenOffice.org Writer. I
entered the following:
Now is the time for all good men.
????????????????
The question marks stand for the SMP characters. For some reason they won’t
paste into my email, but they look fine on screen.
I have saved and reloaded the document. I don’t see any problem whatsoever on
the XP machine I am currently testing on with OpenOffice.org 2.4.1.
