Go to Tools → Customize.... Select the Menus tab. Set the Menu box to
“File”. Highlight “Recent Documents”. Mouse-press “Modifty”. Press
“Delete”.

Many thanks Jim I was looking all the time in the settings menu. I would
not come on the idea that it is in customize menu. I thaught it is
somewhere in the settings menu where you can change it to 1 or 0 recent
files. Many thanks.
