> I'm afraid I don't fully understand your question. You can insert "special"
characters via the Insert>Special Character menu. The panel that opens also
shows the Unicode representaion of the character you choose in both hex and
decimal.

Keyboard shorcuts can be viewed and edited via the Tools>Customise>Keyboard
menu.

Depending on your Operating System there are different methods of entering
"non-keyboard" characters. For example, on Windows, you can use the free
software from

- http://www.personal.leeds.ac.uk/~ecl6tam/ (which I have used) or from
- http://www.cardbox.com/quick.htm (which I have also used) or from
- http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/msklc.mspx which I've never
tried.

The paper at
http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/handson/dev/Unicode-KbdsonWindows.pdfmight
also be of interest.

I don't know about Linux, Mac or other OS's. If that's what you need, please
tell us and someone here will almost certainly be able to help.

You say " (Ex. I need to get the line about e when typing)". This is the
bit I really don't understand. Please explain in more detail what you are
trying to achieve so that we can help you. If you mean you want to enter an
"e" with a grave or acute accent or with an umlaut then Insert>Special
Character will work as will either of the first two links above.
