I just tried the OOo 3.0 (ooo_300m8), downloaded the EXE file and
installed on wine running on Ubuntu Linux. There seems to be some
problems in commonly used features.

What I cant understand is why an ODP and PPT file couldnt play slides
without problems. For those who have intention of using OOo3 for mass
roll out, I'd advice to keep OOo2.4 as a backup for now. So keep OOo
informed on problems, so that we have a better Stable release.
