Keeping 2.4 makes sense for a production environment - putting uses through the pain of an upgrade for pre-release software would be silly, but I think you would resolve most of the issues you see if you ran the linux version rather than the Windows version.

What I cant understand is why an ODP and PPT file couldnt play slides without problems. For those who have intention of using OOo3 for mass roll out, I'd advice to keep OOo2.4 as a backup for now. So keep OOo informed on problems, so that we have a better Stable release.
