Hi,
yes, I still have this problems, I just tried it with 1.9.104 and I can't add a generic printer, it's gray, I can just add a pdf printer and a fax - with openoffice 1.14 it works - but even if i uninstall openoffice 1.1.4, i can't add a generic printer in 1.9.104.
Any ideas?
thanks,

This is because you are using CUPS as printing subsystem. On CUPS systems no command line is used at all, so you cannot configure it. To configure CUPS printers please use the printer administration tool of your operating system (e.g. Yast on SuSE). The difference to Ooo 1.1.4 is that in 2.0 CUPS is supported whereas 1.1.4 used the CUPS lpr commandline tool.

Kind regards, pl
