OpenOffice.org is indeed free, if you download it from www.openoffice.org. As you've discovered, there are some people who are charging for this package. Some who sell it on a CD provide a useful function for those who can't download it. However, there are some unscrupulous types who charge a fair bit of money and provide little or nothing extra in return. Since you tried to cancel, I'd suggest you contact your credit card company, to have the charges reversed. Please go to www.openoffice.org and get a free download of OpenOffice.org, which you can then install on as many computers as you wish or pass around to others. Again, there is no charge for OpenOffice.org, from www.openoffice.org. Please beware of other sites, such as the one you found, that charge and provide nothing else. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
