I have installed OOo 1.1.4, but still have 1.1.3, 1.1.2, 1.1.1, 1.1., and 1.0.1 taking up room on my hard disk and also, the 1.1.3 quickstarter is still on my task bar as well as the 1.1.4 quickstarter ( I have two quickstarters which means I often choose the wrong one)

I am using Windows XP and went to Control Panel / Add-Remove Programs and successfully uninstalled OOo 1.1 (although it said it was uninstalling 1.1.3), When I tried to uninstall any of the others, instead of a "Remove" dialogue box the Installation started for that program - ie, if I tried to Uninstall OOo1.1.1 using Control Panel / Add-Remove then the Installation Program for OOo1.1.1 would launch.

I can't seem to uninstall the versions I no longer want and they are occupying space on my HDD. Can I simply delete the entire Program Files directories for the ones I don't want and then run Registry Mechanic to deal with orphaned entries in the Windows Registry?

Kind regards, James Elliott
