Then remove the formatting:
By mouse: Right click > Default
By keyboard: Alt + O (for the format menu) > D for Default.

Thanks, worked perfectly.

When at the end of paragraph that has some formatting, like a hyperlink,
simply press the right arrow key, conceptually this is like moving past
the formatting, but the cursor stays on the same line, now when you type
the new text is back to the default.
