If you do not have the download image or CD available, this guide is on-line at http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/1.1.x/en/SETUP_GUIDE.pdf What you percieve as an OOo problem results from choices you made during installation when you chose to have OOo be your default office suite. In any case, this only changes associations which can be easily changed back using Windows Explorer.
