It's actually running from a PHP script under apache. Being a one person, once-a-week piece of code, the chance of having two copies trying to run together is small.

However, when testing interactively using the BASIC debugger, I remember I must have had two copies running together at some time; I definitely recall that while one was waiting debugger input, the other stalled. I think I assumed it would be a non-problem in practice.

Oh, and it's still at 2.3 anyway (under freebsd, fwiw) - and while that version works for the job in hand, I don't intend "fixing" it :-)
