I've just copied the formula above from your message and pasted it into a spreadsheet (stripping the braces and then using Ctrl+Shift+Enter) and applied it to your values. It does work: at least, it gives me 0.304762 - as you hope (version 3.0 for Windows XP). I cannot know what you are doing wrong.
