The same behavior happens in Writer, at least in tables. Using
<Ctrl-Z> (or <Option-Z> on my Mac) undoes the time, but only
temporarily. One workaround that failed was to place a space after
the ratio. I can't use an apostrophe because I'm not using a
spreadsheet.
Let me amend this. I put a (thin) character before the ratio and turned
it white. This fixed it, but is ugly.
