OpenOffice does not contain a "publisher" package, but you can do much
of that sort of thing in Writer or Draw. If they're not sufficient, you
may want to try Scribus, which is a desktop publisher app.

Well, I looked at Scribus but downloading it seems to be rather
complicated. I clicked on the download link which took me to a page
that had a lot of different choices ... I clicked "windows" and went
to another page with a bunch more choices... no idea which to choose.
I decided to try on the one that said it was "stable" which took me to
yet another page with choices... this page had two downloades one from
June 08 the other from July 08, I clicked on the July one and it took
me to yet another page with a list to choose from and said to pick the
one that fits your computers architecture... yet it didn't explain
what versions of anything any of them went with.
If the program itself operates anything like this, I sure don't want
it!!! :(

The instructions are here and includes the links for Scribus and the
Ghostscript package. They recommend you install Ghostscript first. You'll want the 32 bit .EXE Ghostscript file.

Thank you, James. I finally managed to download Scribus and I figured out why I was going in circles before... my IE was blocking my downloads, LOL. Oh well. Would you or anyone else happen to know where I might find a template to make a quarter fold card in Scribus?
Thanks! Meenie
