Thank you, James. I finally managed to download Scribus and I figured out why I was going in circles before... my IE was blocking my downloads, LOL.
IE hates to allow downloading free stuff. How it knows, who knows. Vista also crashes FireFox every time I go to a site that offers free stuff to download. Same with Opera. But no with IE. Also Vista loves to move my text cursor all over the place, in Thunderbird, In OOo, and even a Web text box. BUT, not with MS's text products. IE and Vista. Bane of our lives. By-the-Way I have looked into Scribus, and have it installed, but hardly ever used it. Maybe later. Still wanting my "clients" to switch to OOo from PageMaker. I am still learning how to do all I need to do in OOo.
