Does Impress open Power Point in Vista? Are there any tricks to do
it?? Tks
OpenOffice opens Power Point files on any operating system. Are you
having a specific problem?
I am running Vista 32-bit, also run XP/pro 32-bit.
I have Power Point 2003 plus the file compatibility pack to read Power
Point 2007 files
in the 2003 program. OpenOffice.org 3.x reads every Power Point 2007
file as well as
my MS Office does. There may be some quirks in the page animation, but
nothing that
can not be fixed.
I take all of my Power Point files I get and open them in OOo 3.x
The only trouble I have with Vista, at least my copy, is it moves my
text couser up the page
while I am typing words on my line. It does it in OOo, Thunderbird, Web
text forms, and
sometimes even MS Word. Also it will not let me run the Windows
Update. So I got a bad
copy of Vista installed, but OpenOffice.org 3.0 still works great.
by-the-way
Does any one know if I can repair Vista Home Premium without loosing my
files?
XP did, but I do not want to try it with Vista till I know for sure.
