The same Mac release should work for all Intel-based Apple computers
(there is another one for older systems running on PPC, but that is
not your case). Normally, the appropriate version is the one that is
offered on the homepage : http://www.openoffice.org/. When you click
on "I want to download OpenOffice.org" you should see in the box that
appears "Start downloading OpenOffice.org 3.0.0 for Mac OS X Intel in
[your language]"
If that still doesn't work, I would need to know the web address(es)
where you tried downloading, and exactly what you downloaded (i.e. the
file names) to help you further.
