How can I change the fonts (size and style) in OO Base? Tks

Hello Joe,

Could you be a bit more specific as to what font you want to change.

For example the Base menus an such are, as are most of the OO.o UI, not
alterable form anywhere within the Options window. ( You can change the
HTML and Basic IDE fonts there however - and select between OS or OO.o
supplied fonts).

If you mean for instance that you want to change the fonts used in a
data grid - then yes they can be changed.

Open a dataview window.
( Open a Table object, execute a Query Definition, a grid on a form)
Move the mouse to the upper left corner of the table grid - the small
cell that has neither a column name, nor row number.
Right click and on the context menu select "Table Format"
Now you can set the font for all the cells in the table.

You CANNOT change the font for individual columns or cells.

You can change the alignment and formatting for data in individual
cells. Again your right click on the column header and select "Column
Format".

Now in the case of the DataView window these changes should be permanent
- but it appears that under Windows using the latest 3.0.1 RC1 release
this is lost when the database is closed. Under Linux is appears to be
working properly.

If you are talking about changing the font in some other part of the
Base UI - standard form controls or reports let me know and I'll try to
help there also.

Merry Christmas

Drew
