Some places have the USB drives disabled or blocked. I generally use the portable version of OOo to demonstrate it, rather than regular use, as I have OOo installed on my home & work computers. I have also it at the library, where all the software is Microsoft.

My first USB drive was 128 MB and cost over $60, a few years ago. I recently bought a couple of 4 GB Kingston drives for $10 each. My employer currently gives away 1 GB Kingston drives, with our company logo on them, to customers. My first hard drive, back in the XT days was 30 MB and with controller cost $500. > > So, seeing a 16 gig flash drive that is under $35 gets my attention. > So, again, any ideas? While I carry portable OOo on a pen drive, I also carry one with the regular versions of OOo, Seamonkey, Firefox etc., so that I can install them for others, on their computers. -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
