This method seems a little complicated. You have to enter the text
as Caption. Than it inserts a "Text 1:" that you can only delete afterwards.
On the contrary, you have misunderstood: there is no need to use the
caption facility. Once you have the frame, click outside it to lose
the eight green handles. Then click inside the frame to put the
cursor there, and enter your text normally.
I really do not see why someone would rather use a frame instead of
a 1 cell table.
Once you see how it works you probably will.
