I'd like to add that it's not easy to find where to download the PPC (non-Intel) version of OpenOffice.org 3. For some reason, it's not listed on the downloads page at OOo (only 2.4.0 is listed for PPC).

However, you can get it here (scroll down the list below the Intel versions to find the PPC versions):
http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/3.0.0rc4/

Note: RC4 is the same as the final release version.
Note: The US English version does not have _en-US in the filename. The US English filename is <OOo_3.0.0rc4_MacOSXPowerPC_install.dmg>

Hello Mr. Rea,

The support list you have contacted is populated by volunteers (like
myself). To get a refund you will need to contact the organization that you
paid your money to.

An additional note. OpenOffice is available free from www.openoffice.org.
This is the official project web site. If you should have a compatible
computer in the future and wish to try OpenOffice again don't pay for it.
Get it free from the official site.

Hi
I just paid for Open Office version 3.
Then when I'd dragged it into my applications folder and tried to open it
up, I got a message that it's not supported on my system.
Am using Tiger on my Mac, but its a G3, not an Intel machine.
Shouldn't it have checked before permitting me to pay for the software?
I'd like a refund please
