It looks like u need to reinstall again. And, please make sure that you use
not an RC Version. I don't have any problem to save on that format. I've
tried.

I have been using OO2.4 for several months and like it very much. Now
I have installed 3.0, and I am thrilled. It is such a gigantic leap
forward, in appearance and in function. I have one problem. This
version doesn't want to save files in ,odt format. If I try that, it
goes into an endless loop. So I am saving in other formats are that
OK for the moment but not for the long run.
Is there a fix for this or do I have to reinstall?
