I have been using Page Maker for a while and want to do the work with OOo.

Scribus - yes I know about it, but since the documentations of Scribus is
so "not there", I wanted to do the work with OpenOffice.org. Better learning one software package, that is free and has good documentation,
than learning multiple software package, that one or more does not have
good documentation.

So, I want to learn OOo to do the work, instead of adding Scribus to the
list of stuff to learn.

There has recently been released a real Scribus manual. I mean, as in
"book." It is not free, but worth the money for someone who needs it.
There is also an e-list for Scribus at:

Whether you decide to use OOo or Scribus depends on what you are doing.
I use both, although I use OOo more. For a newsletter I would probably
choose Scribus. All the issues with frames are much easier in Scribus,
plus it handles graphics and typography much better. However, it does
not yet have indexing or footnotes. So which to use depends on the
nature of the task.

Thanks again

Did they have an update or bug fix lately?
I will download it again, and try it again,
but without a manual or good documentation,
it will not be easy for some of my "people",
that I deal with, to use it.

Frames, Photos/Graphics, Font variety,styles,
and sizes, are needed. We will see.
