This is a problem I encountered today.
1. I wrote a document in OpenOffice.org Writer 3.0.1. I saved it as
Man.odt.
When I tried export as PDF, I got the following:
==
Confirm Save As
Man.odt already exists.
You saved it as a PDF with an ODT extension. If you force open it in adobe
I believe you will see your document.
When you export as a pdf, delete the .odt extension. You should have
Automatic File Extension checked as well.
If you cannot export the file to PDF
(windows) download "doPDF" which will create printer
that "prints" to a PDF file.
It works better and faster than even Adobe's Acrobat pro.
writer/printer options.
