There were several issues, some of which I don't think are Word 2007
related as I opened and saved the doc in MS Word 97, MS Word 2002, and
MS Word 2003 to test. I also tested in:

OOo 3.0.1 (standard - Windows and Linux)
OOo 3.0.1 (Ubuntu PPA - linux)
OOo 2.4.2 (standard - linux)
OOo 2.4.1 (Ubuntu - linux)
StarOffice 8/11 (Windows and linux)

1. The first page has (in Word) a single graphic, and two text boxes.
The first text box (refer to the link PJH provided). For some reason, no
matter the version of Word used to save the doc, OOo opens with 4
graphics, 4 'Resident Handbook' text boxes, 4 '2009' text boxes, plus 4
blank frames. Deleting the excess graphics, text boxes, and all 4 blank
frames resolves the issue.

2. The table of contents (TOC) adds a numbered TOC field starting at
Heading 1 '1.2 HOA Management...' and any updating of the TOC results in
"Error: Reference source not found". The 1.2 TOC Field is
'_Toc215319954' and the next one at 1.3 Maintenance Fees is
'_Toc21519955' and so on for the rest. Deleting the header TOC fields
for each resolves the issue and thereafter the main TOC can be updated
properly.

In any event, it appears that something is lost in translation of the
doc import filter. Or, perhaps Word 2007 is adding extra fields/frames
that is being ignored by the earlier versions of Word, but are hidden
and included in the doc when saved again from the earlier versions. I
don't have Word 2007 available for testing.

I plan, with PJH's permission of course to create a document with the
original first page (with extras), second page TOC, and then 2 pages of
the original with the text changed to lorum ipsum text instead
(http://www.lipsum.com/) so that can use to submit a bug/issue - unless
someone already knows of one already on file.

@PJH: I think Henri has Word 2007, if so would you mind if I send the
document along to him to have a look as well? Henri, if you do, and if
it's OK with PJH would you mind taking a look?
